Paralympian Gordon Reid serves an ace for Glasgow Audi

Paralympic gold medallist and double grand slam champion Gordon Reid MBE has officially been announced as the new Brand Ambassador for Lookers Audi in Glasgow.

Following wins at Wimbledon, the Paralympics in Rio and the Australian Open, Gordon picked up the keys for an Audi Q5 at Glasgow Audi from Lookers' Audi Franchise Director Cameron Wade as part of an exciting new partnership.

Gordon said:

“It is a great privilege to be the brand ambassador for Lookers Audi in my hometown of Glasgow. The Q5 will prove a major benefit and support for me as I travel extensively between training sessions and competitions. The fantastic engine, roominess and storage will allow me to get where I need to be in good time and in plenty of comfort.”

As well as being a Paralympic gold medallist and twice singles grand slam champion, Gordon is ranked third in the world in singles and second in doubles wheelchair tennis. He will work closely with Glasgow Audi over the next year on a range of events in the area to help promote the Lookers Audi brand in Glasgow.

Cameron Wade, Franchise Director for Lookers Audi said:

“We are hugely excited about this chance to collaborate with a global sports star and we look forward to working together over this busy year ahead and watching his career progress. Gordon perfectly captures the sporting pedigree and drive of Audi and our customers and we are delighted he is now part of the Lookers Audi family in Glasgow as brand ambassador.

“The brand-new Q5 is an incredible vehicle, one of the country’s most popular drives, and this latest model is loaded with all new technology systems.”

We are delighted to welcome Gordon to the Lookers Audi family and look forward to working with him.
