The one thing you expect from an MPV is space, and the Zafira delivers it in abundance. The latest generation boasts an extra six inches from nose to tip on the old models and extra width of 1.5 inches, making the Zafira more practical than ever before. Even with five people on board, there's a cavernous 620 litres of luggage space. Legroom has also been extended, with even passengers in the rear seats afforded enough space to stretch out. The smart seating layout can be adapted to suit your needs, with two, three, four, five, six and seven seat configurations available. And these scene changes can be carried out in a matter of seconds.

The Zafira is available with a wide range of engines starting with a 104bhp 1.4 litre petrol, a 148bhp 2.2 and two supercharged 2.0 litres with up to 197bhp or 237bhp, and a 138bhp 1.8, the newest engine added to the list. The 1.8 is among the most powerful engines of its class, delivering 90% of its 175Nm maximum torque from as low as 2,200rpm. Two diesel 1.9 litre powerplants are also available, with either 118bhp or 148bhp.

Entry level Vauxhall Zafira come with air conditioning, a CD player, remote central locking and electric front windows. Upping the practicality of the Zafira even further is up to 30 clever storage compartments, available with selected trims.
