As the 3rd line engineer for Lookers you will be tasked with providing 3rd line investigative and remediation activities on the I.T. infrastructure services at Lookers plc
Key accountabilities will include;
•Provide the 3rd Line support required to investigate and resolve complex faults, & support complex services to SLA’s.
•Contribute to the Infrastructure team, activities to improve incident/problem relating to Service reliability & performance
•Be a Real-time technical support interface to suppliers, including when we have multi-vendor interoperability issues.
•Ensure that activities and escalation is in line with both customer and service level agreements
•Participate in weekend duty rota (1 in 7 weeks)
•Root Cause analysis for complex major incidents & escalated faults
•Willingness to learn and document new services/products
•Keep up to date with Technical and service developments within the industry and making recommendations where appropriate to feed into the long term IT strategy
