Citroen is a marque that in recent times has managed to combine quality and value in one set of very appealing packages. The brand has also reverted to the stylish and innovative approach that first made it such a favourite on these shores.
Take the medium-sized C5 saloon and Tourer estate. Here you have German build quality, allied with Citroen value and French chic. You also have arguably the best looking car in its sector, equipped with a set of class-leading engines.
The C5 has borrowed many ideas from its larger luxury saloon stablemate, the futuristic C6. And, by the same token, passed many down to the latest version of Citroen unique family hatchback, the C4. This car has recently been facelifted and a range of hi-tech petrol engines added to the mix. In search of budget motoring but need something a little smaller? Then if you are looking for five doors, you need a C3 supermini, whilst those happy with three doors need to check out the dinky little C2. There is even a car for those who want something smaller and more affordable still, the surprisingly spacious C1.
