Volvo has been changing it image over recent years as its designers have ditched the rather utilitarian style of the past for a more contemporary look for its latest range of cars.
The hatch and saloon market is well served with choices from the S40 compact executive range and the S60 and S80 executive ranges. The latest C30 offers customers a different take on the executive coupe and the C70 continues to be the market leader for four-seater convertibles.
Estate models have always been a big seller for Volvo and it is easy to see why with its two ranges of V50 and V70 models. There is even an “all-weather” version of the V70 called the XC70 which fits neatly into the SUV “crossover” sector of the market and Volvo’s XC90 still commands respect in the luxury 4x4 sector.
