Disabled people living in England annd Wales can now apply to the Citroën Motability Scheme in order to exchange their Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance or their War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement for a new Citroën Motability vehicle.
In order to enjoy the advantages of this program and lease a car from Motability, one needs to first check eligibility. An individual must either receive War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement or Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance. Showing proof of receipt of either of these benefits is all that is required to take advantage of this scheme.
No upper age limitations will be imposed on interested and eligible parties; parents and also guardians of at least 3 children can also apply for the Scheme. However, the Attendance Allowance alone does not show eligibility for leasing cars and wheelchairs through Motability.
