The Citroen C-Zero is a 100% electric car with absolutely zero emissions. The range of the batteries in the C-Zero is 93 miles, which if you consider that the average journey in the UK is 23 miles, the range is more than enough for most journeys.
Unlike a lot of electric cars, you don't need a special power source to charge the car at - all you need is a household plug, and the C-Zero can be charged from empty to fully charges in just 6 hours. And when the car is braking, the electric motor acts as a generator and recharges the battery.
Being 100% electric means that the cost of running for a C-Zero is very low, but not only do you save money on fuel: all Citroen C-Zero cars qualify for a £5,000 government grant.
