The stunning Divine DS concept car, which is due to be revealed at the Paris Motor Show later this week, has hinted at the design direction for the DS brand. The Divine has no Citroen branding on the car whatsoever, suggesting that DS cars will be branded separately, as they are right now in China.
The Divine has a diamond pattern grille and sleek lines on the outside, and on the inside has three 'customisable ambiances' – Male uses natural carbon fibre and leather, while Parisienne Chic has ivory leather, silk satin and crystals. The Fatale Punk version has black padded leather and Swarovski Crystal Fabric, embedded with millions of tiny crystals.
“Divine DS is an expression of our expertise. This concept car is the very essence of what DS is and what it will be. A perfect alliance between sophistication and technology. Unveiled just a few weeks after the birth of the brand, Divine DS perfectly expresses the unique personality of DS," said Yves Bonnefont, CEO, DS Brand.
The DS Divine Concept is powered by a 1.6ltr turbo petrol engine developing 270bhp. As well as this performance, the engine is also Euro IV compliance and emits just 145g/km of CO2.
