Engines
The Ford Mondeo has a range of superb petrol and diesel engines, and continues to set the standard within its class by producing efficient, clean and economical power units. The two Eco-boost petrol engines in 1.6 and 2.0 litre configurations are turbocharged to increase power and improve fuel economy. The 2.0 litre version has an optional six-speed PowerShift dual clutch automatic transmission system that provides an extra 10% economy more than regular automatic power units.
