Honda Presents EV-STER the Electric Sports Concept

The word debut of the EV-STER, a small electric sports concept car will be showcased at the Tokyo Motor Show 2011 from 3rd December to the 11th December at Tokyo Big Sight.
The EV-STER will feature an innovative and dynamic design whilst producing excellent environmental performance. The EV-STER is an electric rear wheel drive convertible sports car that gives electromotive mobility a new image within the sports car market. The EV-STER is made up of carbon materials which make the car considerably lighter therefore contributing to the high driving performance and high range of 160km.
The Honda EV-STER has easy to operate twin lever steering to enable the quest for the joy of driving. The concept car also allows the driver to change certain settings to suit their driving requirements such as motor output suspension settings.
In addition to the above the instrument panels not only shows meters, but the vehicle information displays including audio, navigation systems and internet network display. These displays are designed in a convenient way to allow the driver to enjoy the drive and comfort of the sports car.
Specifications of the car are as follow, 3,570mm in length, width 1,500mm, height 1,100mm with a maximum speed of 160km/h, acceleration from 0-60km/h in only 5 seconds and a range of 160km. This impressive concept has a lot to offer and shows that Honda is constantly creating sports models higher than customers’ expectations.
