New Hyundai Veloster
24th January 2012
The new Hyundai car, Veloster, will be available in the UK in February; prices will start from £17,995 on the road offering a stylish, functional and economic car to customers.
The Hyundai Veloster has an innovative design as a three door coupe, where there is a large single door on the left side and two on the right, this helps the passengers access the rear seats. The Hyundai Veloster is also a compact car, making it shorter than competitors such as the Opel Astra and the Peugeot RCZ.
The Veloster will be available in two specs, Veloster and Veloster Sport; it will be powered by a 1.6 litre four-cylinder GDI petrol engine, producing 140PS. There will also be an option of a six-speed manual gearbox or Hyundai’s dual-clutch transmission. In addition, the Hyundai Blue drive technology will be used with Stop & Go technology and low rolling resistance tyres to generate low CO2 emissions of 137g/km with a fuel economy of 47.9mpg.
The new Hyundai Veloster comes standard with features such as 17inch alloy wheels, 7inch Touch screen media centre, Bluetooth Connectivity with voice recognition, reversing sensors, LED daytime running lights and much more.
The Veloster Sport differs with a younger and sporty design; it’s fitted with 18inch alloy wheels with colour inserts, black leather interior, heated front seats, panoramic sunroof, and keyless entry with an engine start/stop button. An additional media package for the Veloster Sport includes touch screen satellite navigation with a rear view parking camera, a Parking Guidance System, 7 speakers with Amp and subwoofer and red leather upholstery.
Hyundai are offering their 5-year Triple Car assurance with the Veloster, which includes road assistance, free car checks and five-year unlimited warranty.
