Jeep sponsors new Film

Jeep has partnered with Lucas film to sponsor their new movie entitled “Red Tails”. The new movie from legendary Hollywood producer George Lucas is inspired by the true story of Americas first all-black aerial combat unit that fought in the second world war and were called the Tuskegee Airmen.
Jeep is a very suitable sponsor for the film as Jeep cars are often featured throughout and show what an important role they played during the Second World War, two action sequences were filmed taking place inside a Jeep car.
During World War II Jeep answered the call of the American Army by supplying them with over 630,000 vehicles that were fast, Agile and Versatile, and it became one of the most iconic vehicles to have been used during the war.
There was a used Jeep car at four of the films premiers in Detroit, Chicago, New York and Los Angeles. Being one the main stars of the film it seems only fair that a 1944 used Jeep share the spotlight with some of the films other big names.
