New Jeep Cherokee set to double UK sales
30th June 2014
Back with a bang, the Cherokee has long been a top-selling SUV for the manufacturer. This new model has had a full makeover and is predicted to send Jeep sales rocketing this year.
The new Jeep Cherokee is expected to comprise around 40 percent of Jeep’s total UK sales. This news follows the huge 70 percent increase in sales from the recent release of the Grand Cherokee.
As previously known [U1] , Jeep is offering a choice of two editions of their sturdy 2.0-litre diesel engine at 140bhp and 170bhp, with a more powerful 3.2-litre engine due to be unveiled later this year. Customers will also be able to choose from a range of four different trim levels.
With the new Jeep Renegade set to follow in 2015 and challenge compact SUVs such as the MINI Countryman and Nissan Juke, Jeep sales are set to reach record levels in the UK next year. The confidence of the range leads the way in heavily-challenged segments, giving Jeep a unique opportunity to claim even greater market share.
