2012 ALRC Land Rover Rally
12th December 2011

The Association Of Land Rover Clubs (ALRC) has announced that it will be holding their 56th annual 4X4 Rally at the Belvoir Castle between June 1st and June 5th next year.
The ALRC first held this competitive event specifically designed for Land Rover enthusiasts in 1955, and it has grown to be very popular. The rally is open to members of all 39 Land Rover clubs across the UK as well as other overseas organisations. The organisers are expecting a high level of entries in to the competition, usually averaging 120 entries per event every day at previous events.
This event is perfect for both Land Rover fans and families looking for a great day out, offering plenty of things to do as well as watching the rally, including food halls, bars, Land Rover parts and tools stands and much more. You can even take your own Land Rover car for a drive around a specially designed course.
All of the clubs participating in the event will have areas close to the campsite where they will be able to show off their cars doing trial runs, so spectators won’t have to walk far to see some action. You can even take part in a charity auction on the Saturday, with all proceeds going to the charity race2recovery.
The Royal Logistics Corp TA will also be at this year’s event, and they plan on displaying some of their military vehicles, as well as setting up an inflatable assault course and climbing wall for visitors to enjoy.
Tickets for next years event are only £5.00 per car, irrespective of how many people are in the vehicle. So if you’re a Land Rover lover, or you’re just looking for a great day out with the family it would be well worth paying a visit to Belvoir castle in June next year.
