Land Rover honoured for creating ‘Ultimate Destination’

19th October 2011

Land Rover Car in Ultimate Destination CampaignJaguar Land Rover recently launched a multi-platform recruitment campaign called ‘Ultimate Destination’, looking to recruit professionals for areas across our business as part of a new company expansion plan, aiming to build for the future with the release of such new cars as the Range Rover Evoque.

The campaign involved using remote control versions of Jaguar and Land Rover cars to paint an image of the world, and it has been a huge success. The recruitment drive which only started in March of this year has resulted in us hiring 700 people and we are now looking to expand the campaign and hire another 600 Jaguar Land Rover Staff.

The achievements were honoured at the Recruitment Business Awards and Jaguar Land Rover HR director Des Thurlby was obviously proud stating “I am delighted that our 'Ultimate Destination' campaign has been recognised by the industry for its innovative and engaging approach to recruitment. Our aim has always been to attract the brightest and best talent to our business as we enter a critical phase in our expansion plans and we are well on our way to achieving our ambitious targets.”

The second phase of the Campaign, entitled ‘Caricature’, launches this month, allowing you to submit a photo of yourself and then have it re-created by the remote control Land Rover cars. So keep an eye and ear out as we will be advertising on radio and in national print articles very soon.
