Kylie Minogue Auctions Her Lexus CT200h for Charity
1st December 2011
Kylie Minogue has kindly auctioned her own car for the NSPCC in which she is an ambassador and has joined Lexus to raise money towards ending cruelty to children. Kylie is fronting the new Lexus CT200h campaign for the world’s first luxury compact car and has been driving her very own CT200h throughout the year. Kylie’s personalised Lexus will be centre of attention at the annual NSPCC City of London dinner, where the auction will take place, held at the Savoy Hotel on the 1st December.
The Lexus will have headrests signed by Kylie Minogue and stitched exclusively for the auction, making sure that the CT200h is unique.
Kylie stated, “I am delighted to be donating my Lexus CT200h…with all the proceeds going to their Helpline. I have been driving it throughout 2011 and I hope that the generous bidder gets as much enjoyment out of it as I have!”
The annual City of London Christmas dinner has raised over £3 million in the last 16 years for the NSPCC, and hopefully this year will be no exception with the attraction of the Lexus CT200h.
All funds go to the NSPCC Helpline, which gives adults advice and support on what to do if they feel a child is being mistreated and can take action on their behalf. Lexus are extremely happy that one of their cars can help contribute to raising a large sum of money for the NSPCC.
