UK Shoppers Recommend Mercedes-Benz

UK shoppers have voted Mercedes-Benz one of the top brands that they would be most likely to recommend to their friends and family, after coming 2^nd in a recent survey.

The survey which was conducted by Bain & Company asked 6,000 people in the UK to rate 350 different brands in terms of how likely they would be to recommend them to others.

The survey used a system which is based on a ten point scale and subtracts the amount of ‘detractors’ from the amount of advocates. So people who voted 9 or 10 points to a brand would be considered an advocate, whereas votes of 6 points or less made people detractors. The overall score was calculated by subtracting the number of detractors from the amount of advocates.

Mercedes-Benz won the second place position with 66% of votes beating the extremely popular Apple iPhone which received 60%. Mercedes-Benz was the highest ranking automotive manufacturer by over 14%.
