Premiership Stars and their Cars

It hasn't been the best of summer's so far in the UK, and for football fans it's been even longer with a two month long football drought. This weekend though the drought will end and by the looks of it the sunshine will be out in time for the new Premiership season beginning. At 12.45 on Saturday Manchester United and Spurs kick off the new season at Old Trafford before the remaining 18 teams play over the next two days.

This season is sure to be a nail biting one as Chelsea try to make it two in a row, while Manchester City are looking to secure their second title in three years with the help of new wonder signing Raheem Sterling. Their rivals Manchester United will also be out to try and win their first title since Alex Ferguson left, while Arsenal who won the Community Shield last week will want to take the title back to North London, unless their arch rivals Tottenham can do better and take the title to White Hart Lane. Liverpool may have something to say about that as they try and win their first title in 26 years under Brendan Rodgers. While in the South Southampton who took seventh place last season will be hoping for at least a place in Europe by finishing within the top 5 this season.

We all know that super rich footballers like supercars, so as we get ready for kick off tomorrow we have taken a look at what cars some of the Premiership stars will be driving to the grounds over the weekend.

Wayne Rooney - BMW i8

Sergio Aguero - Lamborghini Aventador

Alexis Sanchez - Audi R8

Daniel Sturridge - Ferrari 488

Jermaine Defoe - Range Rover Sport

Not all footballers have supercars...
