Since its arrival on the scene at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the SEAT Leon Cupra 280 has attracted plenty of attention from admiring motorists. Now, the Spanish brand has boosted the appeal of the hot hatch further by launching a Sub8 Performance Pack.
The vehicle was the first front-wheel drive production car to lap the Nürburgring in under eight seconds, and the new pack celebrates this achievement with a number of motorsport-inspired details. Uprated brakes have been added behind bespoke 19-inch alloys available with a black or orange finish, and body-coloured side skirts also feature.
For a more authentic track ride, semi-slick Michelin tyres – used on the record breaking run – can also be specified as a further cost extra. Inside, gripping bucket seats can be added, and they boast a one piece headrest plus black Alcantara trim with leather bolsters and white accents.
Also revealed by SEAT for the Cupra 280 are two new colour packs – Black-Line and White-Line. Orange-Line is also scheduled to go on sale in December, giving the model even greater vibrancy. With each option, buyers enjoy 19-inch Cupra alloys and door mirrors, as well as branded lettering on the boot lid and details adorning the front grille.
