ŠKODA has created a
Tour de France fantasy cycling game called Your Team. It allows fans and customers to 'compete' in the world's largest annual sporting event from the 5 to 27 July.
Fans can create a team of nine riders from the likes of Mark Cavendish and Chris Froome to take on each stage of the Tour for the chance to win prizes, including a VIP trip to next year's race, a top-of-the-range ŠKODA road bike, ŠKODA cycling equipment and replica clothing to look like one of the pros.
The game connects both amateurs and fans to this year's Tour – with options such as 'pick my team for me' – making it accessible to those with little knowledge of cycling. To make things even easier, professional cyclists Ed Clancy and Chris Opie have created 'how to play' videos to help everyone get on
Facebook and Twitter pages will promote the game and give away spot-prizes throughout the Tour.
ŠKODA is an official sponsor of the Tour de France, which begins on 5 July in Leeds, and official partner for the UK's fan parks in Harrogate, Green Park and Trafalgar Square.
ŠKODA is also sponsoring the event's coverage on ITV.
