ŠKODA releases sketch of new ŠKODA Fabia Hatchback

21st July 2014

ŠKODA has released the first images of the third generation of the ŠKODA Fabia Hatchback, which is set to be revealed at the Paris Motor Show in October.

Due to go on sale in early 2015, the new Fabia is wider and lower than the current model, and will be equipped with more equipment and more fuel efficient engines.

A wider, slimmer grille links together redesigned angular headlights, while a prominent lower air intake and sculpted flanks give it a more contemporary appearance. Measuring 90mm wider and 30mm lower than the outgoing model, the front-wheel drive supermini previewed here also boasts larger wheels and a shorter front overhang.

The engine line-up is to feature 59bhp and 74bhp 1.0ltr three-cylinder petrol engines which are being used on the recently-facelifted VW Polo.
