The New ŠKODA Superb – Longer, Wider, Lighter

After a successful unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show last week ŠKODA has announced the pricing and specifications for the new ŠKODA Superb. The latest generation model is longer and wider than its predecessor and features a striking new design. The longer design also allows more luggage capacity increasing by 30 litres to a mammoth 625 litres. Although the new ŠKODA Superb is longer and wider it's actually lighter than the previous model thanks to the cars advanced construction.

The new Superb which will be launched in the UK in September this year will have the widest range of engines, transmissions and trim level options ever available to ŠKODA customers. Customers will have the option of four TSI petrol and three TDI diesel engines. ŠKODA have also included a raft of exciting new technologies to their flagship model making the new Superb even more comfortable and safer. New features include a Virtual pedal system where drivers can open the boot with a wave of a foot under the rear bumper and also integrate their smartphones via CarPlay. Safety features in the new ŠKODA include Blind Spot Detection, Rear Traffic Alert and Park Assist.


The new ŠKODA Superb will be available with four trim levels including S, SE, SE L Executive and Laurin & Klement, with prices beginning from £18,640, which is £50 less than the current entry level S model.
