New Vauxhall Insignia 5 Door For Sale

The Vauxhall Insignia is available as a hatchback, saloon or sports tourer. All are refined and comfortable with plenty of space in the cabin and boot.


The Vauxhall Insignia hatchback comes with a choice of four engines; two petrol, the 1.4i 16v Turbo Start/Stop and the 1.8i 16v VVT, plus two diesel engines, the 2.0 CDTi 16v (130PS) and the 2.0 CDTi 16v (130PS) ecoFLEX Start/Stop, all are mated to Vauxhall's manual six-speed gearbox. The combined fuel consumption of the 1.8i petrol engine is 37.2 mpg and CO2 emissions of 179 g/km. Maximum speed is 129 mph and the car will accelerate from 0-60 mph in 10.8 seconds.

The combined fuel consumption of the 1.4i petrol engine is 49.6 mpg with CO2 emissions of 134 g/km. Figures for the diesel engines are 60.1 mpg and 124 g/km and 64.2 mpg and 116 g/km respectively. The Vauxhall Insignia saloon also comes with a choice of four engines, one petrol engine, the 1.4i 16v Turbo Start/Sop ecoFLEX with six-speed manual gearbox and the same three diesel engines as the hatchback. In addition, there is a fourth diesel engine option, the 2.0 CDTi 16v (160PS) ecoFLEX Start/Stop, again with the manual six-speed gearbox.

The fuel consumption (combined) for this engine is 65.7 mpg and CO2 emissions are 115 g/km. The Vauxhall Insignia Sports Tourer has one petrol engine, the 1.4i 1.6v Turbo Start/Stop and two diesel engines, the 2.0 CDTi 16v (130PS) the 2.0 CDTi 16v (130PS) ecoFLEX Start/Sop. As with the hatchback and saloon variants, there is a six-speed manual gearbox.

Depending on the model chosen, the Insignia comes with cruise control, power tailgate (4-door saloon only), alloy wheels, CD player with MP3 format/stereo radio, USB connectivity, leather covered steering wheel, rain-sensitive windscreen wipers, electric rear windows, driver's sunglasses holder, electric adjustable seats, electric folding door mirrors, dual-zone air-conditioning and front fog lamps. Optional accessories include floor mats, cargo liner, mud-flaps, roof box and privacy shades.


The Vauxhall Insignia received a five-star rating at the Euro NCAP crash tests for adult safety. For child safety the car received a four-star rating. All models have anti-lock brakes, six airbags, iSOFIX child seat anchor points, electronic stability programme, traction control and three-point seatbelts. Some models have adaptive forward lighting.
