The New Vauxhall Ampera Electric Car

The new Vauxhall Ampera electric car is all set to be released on the 1st of May this year. Buyers will be able to take advantage of the £5,000 plug-in car grant which has been introduced by the Government due to its extremely low level CO2 emissions.
Vauxhalls new electric car was the winner of the Whatcar? Green car of the year 2011 award, and is one of the most anticipated cars of 2012. The Ampera can run for 40 miles on it’s electric battery alone before the petrol engine comes in to life.
There will be three different versions of the Ampera available, Standard, Positive and Electron. The standard model comes included with a touchscreen monitor, DAB radio and cruise control which are included across the range.
The Positive model comes included with parking sensors on the front and rear end of the car as well as well as a rear parking camera and heated seats.
The electron is the Top level Ampera offering a variety of modern equipment including a DVD video player, Bose Stereo system, 30Gb hard drive, voice controlled Sat Nav and more.
Vauxhall are also promising customers the highest possible level of customer care by offering them their very own specialist who will be contactable via telephone or email to assist with any problems or queries they may have. Owners will also be able to benefit from Vauxhalls 100,000-miles lifetime warranty for the car, with the battery coming with its own 8-year 100,000 warranty.
