Lookers Volkswagen Darlington has embarked on a relationship with local charity, St Teresa’s Hospice.
The dealership will support St Teresa’s through a range of fundraising events over the coming months that will make a huge impact to the hospice and the people it supports.
St Teresa’s Hospice provide free care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families. This is delivered via a range of services including Hospice at Home, In-Patient Support and Complementary Therapies. Lookers Volkswagen Darlington is delighted to be supporting their worthwhile work.
The first event they are supporting is the hospice’s annual race day at Catterick Races on Wednesday 12th July. Guaranteed fun is on the cards with a horse race with a difference. Staff from the site can get their gallop on by manning the front and rear of a pantomime horse and competing against other supporters in the Panto Race. The dealership will also be sponsoring a race and presenting an award to the winner at the event which promises to be a great day for all involved.
General Manager, Lee Potts, said, ‘Our local community is important to us- the hospice looks after and supports so many different people and do so much work in the community. I’m looking forward to a superb partnership.’
Other upcoming fundraising plans include a raffle in the showroom to win a car for the weekend and participation in St Teresa’s ‘It’s a Knockout’ event on Sunday 27th July.
Lookers Volkswagen Darlington are delighted to be working with St Teresa’s Hospice and are looking forward to a flourishing relationship over the coming year.
