The Audi TT already draws inspiration from motorsport, so it's natural that it should obtain RS performance-car credentials. Powered by an award winning 2.5 TFSI engine, the turbo engine has gained a 17% increase in performance and with 400hp it's more powerful than ever before. Acceleration from 0 to 62mph is achieved in just 3.7 seconds, putting the TT RS on par with a supercar. The forces of the engine flow to the quattro permanent all-wheel drive through the seven-speed S tronic which shifts at lightning speed. Agile and safe handling comes in the form of wheel-selective torque, while the driver can use the Audi drive select system to influence the quattro drive and other components such as steering, S tronic and engine characteristics.
Matrix OLED technology is used as an option for the rear lights for this first ever time in a series-production Audi (LED headlights feature as standard) and flank a Singleframe grille with a newly designed honeycomb grille. The new TT RS Coupe is available in nine colours, including the RS-specific Nardo grey and Catalunya Red, metallic.
Inside, the driver focused console and display has all information displayed on the fully digital Audi virtual cockpit with a 12.3" screen giving the driver the option of three views, including a special RS screen that highlights the rev counter and provides information on tyre pressure, torque and g-force.
