The Audi TT already draws inspiration from motorsport, so it's natural that it should obtain RS performance-car credentials. Powered by an award winning 2.5 TFSI engine, the turbo engine has gained a 17% increase in performance and with 400hp it's more powerful than ever before and allows the Roadster to accelerate from 0 to 62mph in just 3.9 seconds. The forces of the engine flow to the quattro permanent all-wheel drive through the seven-speed S tronic which shifts at lightning speed. Outstanding handling is credited to the Audi TT RS's sporty chassis. At the front axle, ventilated and perforated steel discs work behind the 19-inch wheels, with light and abrasion-resistant carbon-fibre ceramic discs available as an option.
LED headlights feature as standard or optional Matrix OLED technology is used as an option for the rear lights for this first ever time in a series-production Audi. The Singleframe grille with a newly designed honeycomb grille features on the front of the vehicle. The new TT RS Coupe is available in nine colours, including the RS-specific Nardo grey and Catalunya Red, metallic.
Inside, the driver focused console and display has all information displayed on the fully digital Audi virtual cockpit with a 12.3" screen giving the driver the option of three views, including a special RS screen that highlights the rev counter and provides information on tyre pressure, torque and g-force.
