The London Motor Show is set to bring the best of the motor industry to the capital, and that’s including one of the UK’s leading dealerships, Lookers, who will be representing Jaguar, Land Rover and Volkswagen.
You may be familiar with the likes of Geneva, Frankfurt, Tokyo and New York playing host to some of the biggest international motor shows, but now a major car show is coming much closer to home; the iconic Battersea Park to be precise.
The last time London held a car exhibition was in 2008, which was called the British Motor Show. Since then a great deal has changed in the motor industry. In the last year alone, there has been more than 13% growth in UK automotive manufacturing. An increase due to a growing admiration of UK built cars at home and overseas.
Lookers will be representing Jaguar Land Rover and Volkswagen at the event. Visitors will get the chance to get close up and personal with the latest 2016 models. The hottest new additions from Land Rover include the Evoque Convertible, Range Rover Sport and Discovery Sport. From Jaguar the manufacturer’s first ever SUV, the F-PACE, the F-TYPE and XE.
Gordon Haining, Franchise Director of Lookers Jaguar and Land Rover said: "We are thrilled to be involved in the first motor show in London since 2008. We have one of the most up to date, state of the art Land Rover showrooms in Battersea and so to be part of the London Show on home territory is a real privilege. We are also just about to launch what will be the biggest Jaguar Land Rover operation in Europe on the A40 in West London representing a multi-million pound investment in the franchise.

Lookers Volkswagen will also be showcasing a selection of the brand’s flagship models, including the world renowned XL1, the all new Tiguan and the Golf GTE.

The show opens to the public on Friday 6th until Sunday 8th May where global brands will come together to showcase their latest innovations, hyper cars, hybrids, electric cars, SUVs and so much more.
