After its very successful first year – the London Motor Show returned to Battersea Evolution last weekend and Lookers were there for all the action.
The Confused.com London Motor Show opened its gates on Thursday 4th May to thousands of motoring enthusiasts for what was going to be a motor-fuelled festival over four days.
On the opening day, the British public were exposed to some spectacular debuts including British coachbuilder David Brown Automotive’s newest creation – the Mini Remastered. The uplifting unveiling took the crowd back in time as the classic Mini was brought back to life with some modifications to take it into the 21st century.
Speaking of modifications, over at the Sutton stand, a new bespoke Mustang CS800 and a new Range Rover Sport with a unique styling kit were unveiled to the crowd.
Displaying the Range Rover in all its original glory, was the Lookers Land Rover stand which also had the Evoque Convertible and Discovery on show. Taking its spot by the main entrance to the Battersea Evolution, Lookers Land Rover also offered visitors the unique opportunity to view more of the range at Land Rover Battersea in our very own Range Rover LWB.
Inside the Battersea Evolution, another Lookers franchise put on a spectacular display with the Skoda Superb and the all-new super SUV – the Skoda Kodiaq.
Lookers Skoda Franchise Director, Duncan McPhee commented at the event: “What better stage than the biggest UK new car event of the year to showcase our Lookers businesses. In particular the recently acquired Skoda dealership in Brentford West London and the relaunch of our newly renovated Skoda Guildford site. We are so excited about our presence at the event and the fantastic opportunity to extend the Lookers brand name to everyone”.
