The launch of the new Kia Soul will kick off with excitement on August 1, and a special event taking place at the Westfield shopping centre in Shepherd’s Bush, London. It forms part of the manufacturer’s ‘Ready to Roll’ campaign, which will continue until August 10.
Kia’s summer events in London have so far included appearances at the Lovebox music festival, More London on the South Bank and the X Factor auditions held at Wembley Arena. At every stop, Kia is filming a challenge to see how many people can fit into a Soul and broadcasting it live on large screens during the event.
In the main atrium of the shopping complex, a number of Soul models will be on display – and an interactive stand will entice shoppers. A personal trainer is set to appear, daring visitors to work out with an XBOX games console and Kinect, and a special racing game featuring miniature Soul cars will also feature.
There will even be the chance to design a Soul using an iPad, and these images can be instantly shared across social media.
Some of the attractions will be more specific to males and females, with both a barber and beauty specialist present to provide shaves and makeovers respectively. And for those who want to continue their shopping, a giant Kia slide will present a fun alternative to Westfield’s many escalators.
