Advice for travel to Calais

The UK Government has issued advice for those travelling to and from Calais as the migrant situation continues to intensify. They have asked that anyone planning on travelling through Calais to check online with their travel operator for any news or advice, to avoid any disruption. For those travelling back to the UK via Calais they are advised to also check with their travel operator and consider alternative routes. This map provides information about alternative routes to the UK.

The Government has said that they are continuing to work with the French Government to try and get all services back to normal as soon as possible. They have also increased security and Border Force operations at the port.

They have issued a list of cross channel operators including their contact details; it is advised that you check these sites for regular updated on travel to and from Calais.
