A Sneak Preview of the Hottest New Cars to Come in 2015

Last year we saw the release of many exciting new cars such as the Nissan Pulsar, Citroen C4 Cactus and the Peugeot RCZ-R. As we end 2014 on a high we look ahead to some of the most anticipated new cars to be released in 2015:

Lexus RC F V8 Coupe

Lexus are introducing their most powerful car in the last 30 years this coming February, the RC-F Coupe. Along with stunningly good looks the RC-F is equipped with a 5.0-litre V8 engine which delivers 471bhp and 530Nm of torque. The RC-F Coupe can reach a top speed of 168mph and can do 0-62mph in 4.5 seconds. The Lexus will arrive in UK showrooms from early February and will be available in two variants - RC F and the RC F Carbon, both which have the same V8 engine. The RC-F Carbon has additional performance extras such as a torque-vectoring differential and a CFRP (carbon fibre-reinforced plastic) roof, bonnet and rear spoiler. The RC –F also comes with a wide arrange of equipment as standard including Brembo brakes LED headlights with automatic high beam, 10-speaker audio system with DAB radio, dual-zone climate control; electrically adjustable, heated and ventilated front seats and sophisticated leather upholstery.

The RC-F will be in showrooms in February 2015, prices start from £59,995 for the RC-F and £67,995 for the RC-F Carbon.

Mercedes-AMG GT

The latest edition sports car from Mercedes is the beautiful AMG GT, a car that was created entirely in house by AMG. Created with a stylish new exterior design the AMG GT has been shaped to complement its high performance. The interior of the 2-seater car has been designed with high quality furnishings including nappa leather seats. The GT is as practical as it is stylish it has a generous hatchback boot that can store up to 350-litres. The GT has been mainly built on an aluminium chassis making it lightweight and extremely fast – it can reach a top speed of 189mph.

The Mercedes-AMG GT will be available in the UK from April next year; prices are yet to be announced.

Jeep Renegade

The Jeep Renegade will be the American brands move into the small SUV market and has been designed to appeal to a global youth market. Although staying true to their 4x4 roots Jeep want to be seen as more adventurous with the new Renegade model. The new model will offer two of the most advanced 4x4 systems in its class, and features a host of innovative systems including a disconnecting rear axle and power take-off unit (PTU) – all to provide the Jeep Renegade with enhanced fuel economy. The Renegade has a fresh new styling and includes a new My Sky open-air roof systems made of honeycomb fibreglass polyurethane.

Honda NSX

It was first unveiled as a concept car at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show, and next year will see the very first production and deliveries of the spectacular Honda NSX. The Honda NSX has a low stance and menacing LED headlights to give it that supercar attitude. Inside the NSX will focus on minimising clutter and focus on maximising driving. The Honda supercar will be powered by a amid-mounted, direct-injected V6 engine mated to Honda's Sport Hybrid SH-AWD (Super Handling All-Wheel Drive) system. The unprecedented interest in this new striking car saw Honda open a pre-order bank for potential owners who can deposit £5000 to be the first to own an NSX.

The Honda NSX will hit UK showrooms next year; prices are yet to be announced.

Ford Mustang

50 years since it was first made the iconic Ford Mustang is finally coming to European shores next year. The European Mustang has been redesigned but still features the iconic galloping pony emblem and Mustang's menacing good looks. Available in Cabriolet and Sportback variants the Mustang is fitted with a powerful 5.0-litre V8 engine, and has the option of a 2.3- Eco Boost engine to offer greater fuel efficiency. We cant wait for the arrival of a true piece of American culture to arrive here in the UK.

The Ford Mustang is set to be releases in the spring next year, prices are yet to be announced.

Fiat 500X

It was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October this year and will be coming to the UK in the second half of 2015 – meet the new Fiat 500X a stylish and smart new crossover from the Italian manufactures. Two versions of this quirky car are to be made, one is designed to appeal to the fun loving metropolitan person while the other more rugged model should appeal to more adventurous people. The Fiat 500X will be available in an impressive choice of 12 body colours and eight different designed alloy wheels.

The Fiat 500X is due for release in the second half on 2015, prices yet to be announced.

Jaguar XE

After the star studded launch of the Jaguar XE at London's Earl Court in September which featured singer Emile Sande and designer Stella McCartney to name a few, we are now patiently waiting on the first deliveries of the new 'baby jag'. The new XE is the smallest, lightest Jaguar saloon ever made and will appeal to anyone who likes style, performance and technology – the XE has it all! The XE comes with a choice of a supercharged 3.0-litre V6 engine or a highly efficient 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine.

First deliveries of the Jaguar XE are due in May and prices start from £26,995 on the road.

Land Rover Discovery Sport

Land Rover recently revealed details of the first of their all new Discovery family of models – the Land Rover Discovery Sport. The new SUV from the British manufacturers is said to be the most versatile and compact SUV in the world. The Discovery Sport has 5+2 seating but is no larger than a premium SUV model. It features a new rounded design with optimised proportions and stance. The Discovery Sport also comes with a whole host of new innovations including an all-new multi-link rear axle which provides excellent driving capabilities and also more storage space inside the cabin.

The Land Rover Discovery Sport will be on sale in showrooms across the UK from January 2015, prices start at £32,395.
