Vauxhall was at the forefront of car sales in Scotland according to figures released by Scottish Motor Trade Association, making it the ninth consecutive year that the manufacturer has topped the charts.
Vauxhall Corsa was Scotland’s bestselling car, with over 10,000 units delivered to customers. This made the Vauxhall Corsa Scotland’s best seller for seven out of the last eight years. Vauxhall Astra and Mokka also featured on Scotland’s bestseller list with 5,260 and 3,843 units sold respectively.
Gordon Hannen, Vauxhall’s Regional Operations Manager for Scotland commented "The Scottish market is of great importance to Vauxhall,” “We are delighted to be Scotland’s biggest-selling car manufacturer for the ninth year running, with Corsa its best-selling car."
2017 is set to be a groundbreaking year for Vauxhall with the manufacturer set to unveil five new products to add to it's already impressive portfolio and entering new market segments. The five new set to be revealed are the the Insignia Grand Sport, Sports Tourer and Country Tourer, Crossland X and Grandland X.
