This week, staff at our Ellesmere Port branch perfectly demonstrated our commitment to customer satisfaction when one of our sales executives, John Thomason, went above and beyond for one of his customers, Mrs Smith.
Mrs Smith ordered her car in December, and despite initially expecting it around April or May, John learned that the car was due to arrive at the branch at the end of March/start of April.
Coincidently, through a conversation with Mr Smith, John discovered that Mrs Smith’s birthday was the 30th March, which gave him an idea…
The car arrived in the UK a few days before Mr Smith’s birthday, on the 26th March, and with a little help from STVA, John managed to get the car on-site in time for her birthday.
Having secretly arranged for Mr Smith to insure the car and bring all the necessary documents needed to pick it up the day before it arrived at the branch, John invited Mrs Smith to complete her finance documents which would allow us to tax the car in March to ‘beat the tax’.
Unaware of what John and her husband had been up to, Mrs Smith arrived to sign the documents, instead to be presented her the new car in the showroom - complete with balloons and banners - ready for her to collect.
