French manufacturer Renault, which owns Romanian sub-brand Dacia, has announced that one of the new models appearing at the Paris Motor Show is the Dacia Lodgy Stepway.
Very little information has been released on the vehicle, ensuring that the excitement around the reveal continues to build until the October event. Fans eager to know more about the new Stepway can look to the original Dacia Lodgy MPV for style and equipment cues.
Dacia's next generation of vehicles is being pushed by the Lodgy, which claims an individual interior style and greater ergonomics. It's finished to an impressive level of premium quality, and claims a stunning amount of energy and force for an MPV. Dacia has had the Lodgy compete at the Trophée Andros ice racing championship three times.
The Lodgy MPV is not part of Dacia's offering in the UK – which currently includes the Sandero, Duster, Sandero Stepway and Logan MCV. There were initial plans to introduce the model from the manufacturer's launch, yet this vision was not realised. In France, where the Lodgy is available, it comes as standard with black roof rails, daytime running lights, and large amounts of safety features and storage compartments.
A potential UK launch for the newest Dacia Lodgy Stepway is yet to be confirmed.
