ALL-NEW DACIA JOGGER REVEALED
Dacia are bringing their famed value-for-money approach to the 7-seater family car with the launch of the All-New Dacia Jogger, offering larger families something that is refreshingly different to the norm. All-New Jogger offers unrivalled versatility by adopting the key attributes of each market segment: the length and practicality of an estate car, the spaciousness of an MPV, and the styling and reassurance of an SUV. The result is a family car that exists in a class of its own, delivering a price-to-spaciousness ratio that is unique to Dacia.
The new name embodies the brand’s outdoor spirit and sense of adventure, ready for the daily lives of families whether navigating towns and cities or looking to get away into the great outdoors.
All-New Dacia Jogger will be available to pre-order in December 2021, with first deliveries expected from March 2022.
All-New Jogger is based on the CMF-B platform that also lies at the heart of the All-New Sandero, but extended to just over 4.5m, making it the longest model in Dacia’s range also with a generous 200mm of ground clearance.
This ready-for-anything spirit is reflected in the All-New Jogger’s styling, with a bold, wide grille flanked by the signature Y-shaped LED daytime running lights. Vertical rear lights maximise the width of the tailgate making loading easier, particularly for bulky items.
Modular roof rails use an ingenious patented system that transforms them in just a few simple steps to accept anything from skis to mountain bikes, complete with a generous 80kg carrying capacity.
The All-New Jogger comes with clever ‘Flex Wheels’ which, although designed to replicate the stylish appearance of alloy wheels, are more robust and affordable should they need to be repaired or replaced. Alloy wheels with a stylish diamond-cut finish are also available.
With three full rows of seating, the All-New Jogger can easily accommodate seven adults in comfort. Alternatively, the split-folding seats can be arranged into one of more than 60 possible configurations to accommodate families of all shapes and sizes, plus all their luggage and sports equipment. The boot offers up to 213 litres of storage space with all seven seats in place, rising to 712 litres with the third-row seats folded down. With the second-row seats folded down and the third-row seats removed, Jogger offers a huge 1,819 litres of cargo space (VDA). All the seats are sculpted to provide the driver and passengers with optimum support and comfort.
Fold-down tray tables and cup holders for the second-row seats ensure all occupants are well looked after, while even those in the third row have their own armrests. Each row has its own roof light for a total of three in the 7-seater version, further boosting the light and airy feeling of the cabin for everyone.
All-New Dacia Jogger is available with all three full-featured multimedia and infotainment systems. Media Control turns a smartphone into a natural extension of the dashboard. Media Display upgrades the audio capabilities with four speakers, with an 8-inch touchscreen. The system is Bluetooth enabled and compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Lastly, Media Nav builds upon the Media Display system with the addition of Wi-Fi wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a full in-car navigation function, and an upgraded audio system with six speakers and two USB ports.
All Jogger models feature six airbags, including curtain and side airbags, as well as a range of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including:
● Emergency Brake Assist
● Blind Spot Warning
● Park Assist
● Hill Start Assist
Electronic Stability Control and a speed limiter are standard across the range, while cruise control with steering wheel-mounted controls will be available on selected trims. Further options will include heated front seats, climate control with digital display, hands-free key card with remote boot unlocking, automatic wipers, and an electric parking brake.
