I had a really poor experience at Lookers Skoda Newcastle. I was told in the morning that the service team would be in a meeting between 1pm and 3pm. When I called at 3.30pm to check the status of my car, I was then told they were actually in a meeting until 4pm. When I arrived at the showroom, I was informed again that the team wouldn’t be available until 4.30pm. In total, I ended up waiting for more than 45 minutes just to speak to someone. What made it worse was that customers who arrived after me were served before me, while I was left waiting with no clear communication. This level of disorganisation and lack of respect for customers’ time is really disappointing. I expected much better

I had the pleasure of dealing with the “manager” in the Toyota branch who made it very clear that they were correct about an issue I had and also that I could not possibly be right or have a leg to stand on. The customer service from the manager was terrible and it actually made it very clear on why I had so many issues when we purchased the car. The staff training for customer service clearly isn’t working. Do better , be more professional and polite it is not hard. It’s actually easy to be nice. Or just dodge altogether and go to one of the other branches hopefully they’re more professional.
