Avoid. I was actually shocked at how the staff treat customers & how management is letting them get away with it. One of the men on the phone had an arguementive tone with a customer when discussing plans - it was clear the person at the other end was just asking alternative options which annoyed the guy! Customers should be allowed to ask alternatives! Absolutely madness. Also the fact it’s an open plan desk so they are happy to argue with customers in front of their other customers & members of the public just shows 0 customer service skills to me. Other customers in there seem to be discussing various issues with fixing vehicles. They seem very incapable would 100% avoid.

I am writing to make a formal complaint about an extremely disappointing experience I had at this dealership last week. I booked a test drive through the official KIA website. Following my booking, I received an email from a member of the Lookers Customer Contact Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne confirming the test drive appointment. When I arrived at the dealership at the agreed time, I approached the receptionist and explained that I had booked a test drive. To my surprise, I was told that there was no test drive appointment booked under my name. The receptionist then explained that the customer service team in Newcastle is simply a call centre and that the dealership does not operate in this way. I was told that I should have contacted the dealership directly, asked for a member of staff, and left a message regarding the test drive. At that point, I was simply asked to write down my name and telephone number on a piece of paper. I was also told that there was only one demo vehicle available and that, alternatively, I could visit another KIA dealership if I wanted to complete a test drive. I found this experience extremely disappointing and frustrating. I had followed the booking process provided by KIA and had received written confirmation of my appointment. As a customer, I should not be expected to resolve an internal communication failure between the KIA website, the Lookers Customer Contact Centre and the dealership. What makes this even more disappointing is that I was actively considering purchasing a new KIA vehicle. Instead of receiving a welcoming and professional experience, I was effectively told to go elsewhere. I subsequently contacted another KIA dealership, arranged a test drive with them, and have now decided to purchase the vehicle through that dealership instead. This experience has not only cost this dealership a potential sale, but has also significantly damaged my confidence in the customer service provided by Lookers. I would therefore appreciate an explanation as to how a confirmed test drive appointment could be handled in this manner, and what steps will be taken to prevent other customers from having the same experience. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise potential customers to consider other KIA dealerships rather than risk experiencing the same level of poor customer service.

Using these guys for 20+ years and never a bother. The care to detail they take for a tyre shop is 2nd to none. I wouldn’t have anyone else look at my motorbike tyres, I’ve carbon rims and wouldn’t trust anyone else to deal with them only here. Price for motorcycle tyres is as competitive as you’re going to get anywhere, even online so don’t pass Charles hurst. Lewis on the phone is always helpful and has my tyres ready for me when I call to get them fitted. A lot of negative comments on here and baffles me tbh. If you’re a biker and take pride in your bikes then you won’t be disappointed. I’ll continue to use Charles hurst on the sydenham road for many years to come. Credit to you all from the phone staff to the guys doing the hard graft.

Excellent service given when we purchased my new car through Audi in Guildford. We dealt with both Dan and Manish who were extremely professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with and Dan went through everything on the car during handover, was very happy to answer my questions and made sure I was happy before driving away.
