Good service given, but I did have a bit of a longer wait for my car than first stated. Ie, 2 hours rather than the 1 hour quoted. But free coffee on tap, pleasant safe, and a nice waiting area took the edge off the extra waiting time.
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Lookers Land Rover Chelmsford. My experience has been nothing short of frustrating and stressful and I feel compelled to share my experience to prevent others from going through a similar situation. I initially booked my vehicle in for repairs due to a recurring issue with the engine. Despite the service team fitting a new part the car broke down again shortly after, with the same issue persisting. I have now had to return the vehicle three times, and unfortunately, the engine has failed yet again. This raises serious concerns about the quality of the repairs and the expertise of the technicians working on my car. What has made this situation even worse is the poor communication and lack of transparency from the service advisors. I was left completely in the dark throughout the process, with minimal updates and no proactive follow-ups. I constantly had to chase for information, which added unnecessary stress and frustration. On top of that, there was no sense of urgency or genuine effort to resolve the issue, nor was I offered a courtesy car, despite the fact that this situation has significantly impacted my ability to work and carry out day-to-day tasks. To make matters worse, every time I visited the branch for vehicle drop-off and collection, I experienced long wait times, further adding to the overall poor customer experience. The lack of efficiency and professionalism from the service team has been truly shocking. I expected much better from a brand like Land Rover, but this experience has left me extremely disappointed. I sincerely hope Lookers Land Rover Chelmsford takes this feedback on board and improves both their technical service and customer care. I would not recommend this dealership based on my experience
Extremely pleased is an understatement!! A special mention to Neil at Lookers Buckinghamshire, we can’t praise Neil enough, he made us feel at ease from the start to finish. We had the pleasure of dealing with Neil, from enquiry stage to collecting our vehicle on completion. Neil has been on hand with any help and advice we needed, whether communication was via email or telephone. The handover on completion was very thorough. Neil followed up with us after 24 hours after, to ensure we were happy and if there were any issues or concerns with the vehicle. When we visited the dealership on a Sunday, we were greeted by 2 very friendly receptionist, who kindly offered refreshments throughout our time there.
Had a great experience today at Range Rover Battersea for once as it’s had it really poor handling of customer service met a great gentleman called Jason who I think is a service manager pulled out all the stocks to make sure that everything went smoothly and efficiently. I see per individual for this company. I will be looking forward to be doing business with you soon again.
Customer service isn't great. They really don't care and make this very clear in communication with the customer. Other staff members were lovely to deal with when you finally get your car booked in for yet another manufacturer recall, but I suppose you'll get lovely staff everywhere when retail is involved. I'd never buy another Land Rover or Jaguar again though. Too many issues and horror stories of other people's experiences of them and of trying to get issues sorted. Had I not got talking to others about my issues, I wouldn't have known of any of these issues. Was also advised that the part replaced following a manufacturer recall isn't covered under a warranty. If I have paid £1 towards it they'd have covered it. Not too sure what sense this makes!!
Rob and his team were outstanding from day one, informative and responsive whenever my partner had any queries. Would use again for replacement vehicle.
I have had a fantastic experience with the Lookers Bishop Stortford team (I dealt with Paige, Omar and Kingsley) who have all gone what feels like above and beyond to find my perfect car and worked with me every step of the way to make it fit to my budget. Paige Evans has been an absolute delight and I feel the customer service level she gives is very personal and sincere always keeping in touch to make sure I’m a continued happy customer. I have had a minor issue being dealt with swiftly and professionally and can’t fault any part of my experience so far. The welcome received whilst in the show room feels very genuine such a vast difference to some dealerships I have experienced. Thank you guys and especially Paige for providing me with an amazing customer journey!
