I purchased my Velar in March, after two previous bad experiences with other dealers, so I was understandably very anxious about this third purchase in such a short time. I was hoping that buying from a trusted and approved dealership would finally give us peace of mind. We travelled from near Manchester to view and purchase the car. After a test drive and a helpful discussion with the salesman, we decided to go ahead with the purchase. However, just an hour into our journey home, the car went into limp mode and displayed a “Restricted Performance†warning on the dashboard. I immediately contacted the dealership, and they advised me to call recovery — which I did. The recovery technician, who was thankfully very helpful, discovered a disconnected pipe. He reattached it, and we were able to continue our journey. Still, I wasn’t happy with the situation, so I contacted the dealership again and asked them to liaise with a closer Land Rover dealership to carry out a full inspection, just to make sure everything was in order. Instead, they decided to collect the car themselves to inspect it. The car was returned a few days later without any communication whatsoever. I had to continuously chase them for updates — to find out what had been done to the car and whether anything else had been replaced or repaired. Weeks later, I finally received a report saying that the pipe had been changed. When I got the car back, I also found a pollen vent placed in the left door. I asked about this and was told that I needed to fit it myself — apparently in the glovebox. While they made it sound simple, after looking it up on YouTube, I found that it’s actually quite a complicated process. So now, after purchasing a premium vehicle — and having already returned it once due to a misplaced part — I’ve been left with yet another loose part to install on my own? I submitted a formal complaint, which has been completely ignored despite me chasing it up multiple times. No one has followed up or reached out. I’m also owed money by the dealership, and again, despite several reminders, I haven’t received anything back. The car had already been booked for mid-July for a check due to a strong emissions smell inside, but after a second recovery call last weekend due to a turbo issue, it’s now booked in with Land Rover for three days of work, starting Tuesday. I put my trust in this dealership, believing that buying from an approved seller would mean quality and accountability. Instead, it feels like once the car was sold, they also sold off any sense of responsibility and aftercare.

Very bad service.Paid for my range rover 1210 pound for service and they haven’t even washed the car and full health check checked but vipers was very bad not even looked.Paid amount already but still not sent me receipt they said they will send be by email nothing yet its week already.Not happy at all
Managed to get me booked in on a Saturday morning to do my service, this saved me no end of time and hassle organising to get the car to the garage, we were made very welcome whilst we were waiting.
I bought my Range Rover new from Lookers and have had it serviced by them every year. Initially the customer service was great but at last years service I hadn't heard anything for a few days so I phoned and they were unaware they even had my car with them. After a day of investigation they found the car and then completed the service. I put this down to a one off, but this years service has been no better. They have had my car for nearly three weeks, no updates nothing despite me chasing them. When I phoned this morning I was told the car will be ready later today. The customer service is atrocious, I will never use them again.
