The whole experience was very good. We were well received by the salesperson. All our queries were answered clearly. The vehicle was delivered clean and topped up at the ageed time. The only downside was the congestion on the forecourt. Apparently many of the vehicles were not for sale. And those that were didn't all have prices showing. All very confusing.
I returned to have the minor matter addressed, thanks again to Matt for resolving this. Also to Ruby in Service who was efficient, professional and personable. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at this Volvo garage. I booked an appointment two weeks in advance for an oil leak issue. On the day of my appointment, I was told that even though my car is under warranty, I would still need to pay an inspection fee upfront, which would only be refunded if the warranty covered the issue. I agreed. Later that same day, they called to say they hadn’t checked my car and would do it the following day. The next day, I was told they confirmed the leak but needed more time to investigate, which meant more fees, and I had no choice but to agree. Then, yet again, the next day they told me they didn’t have time to look at my car because they were too busy. Now, my car has been with them for 6 days, and I have had no updates or messages from them at all. I had to call myself, and when I asked the service department for information, they told me the colleague handling my case was “on lunch†and they couldn’t give me any details. I asked to speak with a manager, but after holding, I was told the manager was “in a meeting.†This is shocking service for a brand like Volvo. I cannot believe how unprofessional and careless the entire experience has been. My car is still with them, I’m left in the dark, and no one seems to care. Volvo really needs to look into how their service centers are treating customers because this is absolutely unacceptable.

One of the worst servicing aftercare Departments I've encountered. The communication has been just awful. Booked the car in with an issue around charging. The appointment was moved back so it was over a week and a half since logging the issue. Luckily my husband found that it was a charging cable issue and not an issue with the car. We told them this however still had to take the car in. We drove 45 mins to the garage and were told id get a call ASAP. At 5.05pm I was told it was the charging cable and I could collect the car whilst they ordered the cable! Get i rang to tell them what the problem was also at 5.05pm I wasnt making it there before closing. Yet more time off work the following day to go and collect it only to be told the part would be in later that day. I asked it be posted, as i wasnt making another trip, especially when this hadn't been communicated prior. They agree to get someone to bring it that week. I stressed the importance as i had borrowed a charging cable to source the problem and was running out of battery. Nearly a week goes by and I call, only to be told it was out for delivery that day! I come home yesterday...no cable. No phone call. Nothing. I ring again to be told the person bringing the part had taken it but he was on training and nobody knew why he'd not brought it, but i would get a call at lunch time with an update. Guess what... no call. I ring again to be told nobody knows where this person is and the manager has gone home for the day. I ask for an urgent call with the person dealing with my issue, im promised she will do this.... yet again no call. I now have no battery to get to work and will lose a days wages. The pure lack of care and simple curiosity is astonishing. Awful doesn't cut it.
