A very special Range Rover, belonging to the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge's is set to go under the hammer and set to raise anywhere from £80,000 to £150,000.
Offered by the Sun Screen IT, who work towards providing IT access to developing countries in order to improve education for children and inspiring mirco-economies to build themselves out of poverty.
The 4.4 litre Range Rover was supplied by JLR’s VIP department and is the exact vehicle that was used by HRH Prince William and wife Catherine to carry their first born, His Royal Highness Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge home from hospital on 23rd July 2013. All of the proceeds of the sale go towards Sun Screen IT and the military health charity, Stand Down.

John Lennon’s 1965 Rolls-Royce Phantom V Limousine
How do you sleep... in this car?
Any Beatles memorabilia is high on the collectors list and commands a premium price but when John Lennon’s Rolls-Royce Phantom V Limousine was sold for a staggering $2.29 million, the world was sent into frenzy. Purchased by John Lennon in 1965, it was painted black and apparently cost him a mere £6000. Lennon then sanctioned the transformation of his RR Phantom V Limousine to include a double bed instead of the backseats, a TV, a fridge, phone and a record player. Of course, no celebrity vehicle would be complete without blacked out windows.
The elaborate paint job which was carried out by coachbuilders J.P Fallon completed the transformation. Pretty sure they were watching the wheels as they did a paint job on them too!
The current owner of the vehicle is reported to be the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not and the car is currently on display at Royal BC museum in British Columbia.
Elvis Presley’s 1963 Rolls – Royce Phantom V Touring Limousine
Wherever the King of rock ‘n’ roll went, the fans and media followed. No surprise then that the His 1963 Rolls-Royce Phantom V Touring Limousine was sold for almost $400,000 (£303,438) by Bonhams in 2014. Wonder if the new owner found his purchase to be a good luck charm or if they were crying in the chapel.
Originally finished in a midnight blue with elegant grey cloth interior, folktale has it that the Kin ordered a colour change to lighter silver blue in order to mask the paint chips from his mother’s chickens.
The extravagant limo was ordered by the King rock ‘n’ roll and it true superstar fashion; it consisted of a telephone, electric windows, air conditioning all of which were well advanced of their time and of course, a built-in microphone for recording en route.
Rod Stewart's 1972 Lamborghini Miura SV
The Miura was the fastest production car when it was first introduced to the market in 1966 and challenged Ferrari’s dominance of the supercar market. Lamborghini Miura SV that Rod Stewart owned was one of only 150 SV’s that were made and rolled off the line production line on 31st of May 1972, approximately a year before production ceased due to the arrival of the Countach.
The vechile was extensively restored and underwent an engine rebuild costing totalling approximately £174,300, the original Giallo Fly livery was factory refinished.
The car was sold by Bonhams in 2013 for around $1.4 million (£919,900) – Ohh La La indeed!
George Foreman's Lamborghini Diablo VT
Last but certainly not the least, George Foreman – whose grill you probably have in your kitchen cupboard and more importantly who defeated the previously unbeaten Joe Frazier in an epic bout and fought the late great Ali in one of the most famous fights in the history of boxing in ‘The Rumble in the Jungle’ has put his Lamborghini Diablo VT up for sale. The car has only covered 1,907 miles after Foreman picked it up in 1997 boasts four wheel drive and a removable carbon fibre roof panel.
Oh! The 5.7 litre monster of an engine develops nearly 500bhp, not to be shrugged off. The car also include some history boxing memorabilia from Foreman himself and if you don’t have a grill, then a signed one is conveniently included for you.
The estimated price? Between $285,000 and $325,000 - Surely a knockout at auction!
