I had a good experience buying my Approved Used Discovery Sport through Lookers Land Rover, in Bishop’s Stortford. My sales exec Dee was really nice, super laid back and made the whole experience easy. I was a distance buyer and had to travel to collect my car. Dee kindly picked us up from the airport. He had the car ready in the show room and made me feel really comfortable. There was an issue with an advisory on the MOT, there was work needing done. We quickly came to an agreement that allowed me to visit Land Rover closer to home and have the work carried out. Would definitely deal with Dee again. Thank you for your 5 star service!

Just visiting the UK, and the headlamp bulb of my swiss 2012 Range Rover blew. Contacted other main dealers.. had to wait 2 weeks.. Lookers said drop it here, we'll fit it in. They fixed it in 15 mins and I only had to pay for the bulb. Super service.. would recommend buying your car here.. your sure to get support when you need it.

Overall, I have received good service from the service team. There is a long wait for a courtesy car, but i guess that's the only thing I can complain about. Everytime the car has been, all work has been completed to my satisfaction and the car has always be valeted too. The service advisors have all been really good, very friendly and knowledgeable and kept us updated regarding progress of the repairs.

I took my Land Rover to Lookers Land Rover Colchester in February 2026 to investigate two issues under a Used Approved Warranty. Neither issue was resolved to my satisfaction. During the visit, a vehicle health check was carried out and I was advised that several items required urgent attention, including rear brake pads reported at 2 mm and requiring immediate replacement (quoted £424). The total cost of recommended work was £1,263, and I was informed that none of this was covered under warranty. I sought a second opinion from a VAT-registered independent garage shortly afterwards. They measured the rear brake pads at 4–5 mm, indicating they did not require urgent replacement. The additional work identified by Lookers was also completed elsewhere for approximately £420 in total. I raised a formal complaint regarding the accuracy of the health check and the recommendation of significant work which, based on independent assessment, was not required to the extent advised. This was referred back to the dealership, whose response did not address the discrepancy. A further request for review by Head Office received no response. Based on this experience, I have concerns regarding the accuracy of the inspection and recommendations provided. Overall, this resulted in a very poor customer experience and a loss of trust in this dealership. I would recommend that others seek an independent opinion before proceeding with any recommended work.

I feel that I was duped by Lookers. My Range Rover Evoque filled with black smoke only 10 minutes after collection and the after care has been awful. I have had the car 12 weeks and it is still being fixed. Do NOT buy a used care from this place.
