Edit - I am unfortunately editing this review to a 1 star from a 5 star due to a recent experience. My car unfortunately failed it's MOT on 18th December, can't be helped. The issue's were not effectively explained to me by the receptionist and I was told I could either pay £360 for the repairs that day or I could claim through the approved used warranty and only pay £110. I chose to claim through my warranty and was therefore waiting until 22nd December without my car to find out it would not be covered and the quote for repairs had miraculously increased to £690. I begrudgingly called the garage explaining my confusion for the warranty claim being refused and the significant increase in the quote. I was provided with a vague answer that the terms and conditions of the warranty did not cover this as it was wear and tear; however the service manager described that the brake cylinders failing caused brake oil to leak on components CAUSING increased wear and tear - had the brake cylinders not failed the increased wear and tear would not have occurred. The warranty booklet provided to me on sale of the car does not describe brake cylinders being excluded and I cannot find the terms and conditions they are referring to and despite requesting access to the terms and conditions I have not been provided with these. The receptionist I spoke to regarding the ridiculous increase in quoted price was rude and argued with me over the phone for around 10-15 mins before I was able to be put through to a service manager. By some miracle the quoted price reduced to £500, still significantly more then the £360 on 18th December but at least more reasonable then the £690. Ultimately a very poor experience especially when the approved used warranty claims to cover component failure. I obviously will be taking this up with the warranty company and further should I need to but the way I have been treated from a customer service stand point was atrocious. Was I the nicest over the phone? Probably not, I was quoted £690 two days before Christmas for a job I was previously quoted £360 for - however I do expect to be treated with honesty and integrity when paying for a service. Maybe this was a case of poor communication from provider to customer however there was no attempt at an apology or resolution and not how I expected to be treated when I have bought my car from this dealership, got regular annual services and MOT's and previous repairs where I was looked after significantly better. The service I received from was terrible, first of all , my car was having an EPC problem and I took the car to the Garage ,first of all they fail to find any problem with it , instead recommended to renew two front tyres which I agreed and paid high price for it, and it took them two days for me to collect the car back , as soon as my wife took the car and drove off the read the tyre pressure warning sign come off , since the time was already passed 6pm , and she could not return to garage to sort out the problem , at the time arrived home I checked the tyre pressure was 1 bar only , this only mean the garage was not even bother to pump up the tyres after the installation. Few days later I have to EPC problem resumed again along with my tyre keeps losing pressure , I have no choice but to return the car to the garage , after the garage completed the VHC ,they find there is a problem camshaft position but fail to see any problem with the front tyre and suggested I take the car back and waiting for warranty approve and suggested it was only take two days , but after few 4 working days and I am heard nothing from the garage and the my front tyre pressure dropped to nothing and I could not use the car at all , and I call VW and in the morning only get a message that the person responisble for my case was busy and will call me back, and up to later afternoon and I still received no call from her and I call again and she said she will arrange a courtesy car for me a week later After my car returned to the garage for the third time , they eventually found out the cause of my front tyre losing pressure and fixed it accordingly along with EPC problem So it took 4 weeks and three trips to garage is totally unacceptable, also they never return my call as promised and I believe no customer would be happy about such service
Terrible experience with Audi Guildford. Have a brand new Audi Q6 (75 plate with 1000 miles on the clock). Car has multiple system errors (lane assist, high beam assist, emergency assist, traffic sign recognition assist) all unavailable. The digital key doesn't work and the alarm goes off randomly in the middle of the night. The biggest issue; the car makes the most unbearable humming sound above 50mph. It's literally insufferable to drive on the motorway or A roads. The technician that came on a drive with me acknowledged how bad the humming noise is. I have been told that none of the issues can be resolved, even though I have colleagues who have the same vehicle and same issues, that are having their issues solved due to various TPI's at other dealerships. Oh, and yesterday, all the sound stopped working, no radio or audio via Apple Car Play. Have a brand new 'premium' vehicle, with an on the road price of £80,000 that has more lights than a Christmas tree and is about as enjoyable as being at the dentist. Avoid like the plague and buy another brand.
All of the guys in office super helpful and had loads of advice and guidance. They turned the car around in a really efficient manner and had it ready for me before Christmas. Second car we have bought from them and would recommend to anyone! Will was brilliant throughout process and kept me up to date at all times.
