Have to say Adam was brilliant .. made me feel so welcome with no rush to order my car .. made sure everything was right for me .. very down to earth person to have a joke and a little laugh well done.. although parking is a bit of a pain as full with cars .. looking forward to my new car soon. ***** Dropped down to one star**** Communication is a joke .. phone calls emails never get answered .. new car arrived with scratches and damage too parcel shelf .. again sent emails .. phoned them .. told they would get back to me.. and still nothing .. over a week now

Very poor experience as a new customer from Sales advisor!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! Tried to purchase a BMW X5 and paid a £500. deposit, I was called on the morning of collection, (85 miles away!), to be informed that the car was no longer available to purchase. Almost two weeks later, I am still waiting for the return of my deposit! Andy and his manager are never available to take my call and other staff members are unable to help due to the account department in Glasgow being closed or staff meetings in Stockport! Wholly unacceptable! 😢

Genuinely one of the worst experiences with a car dealer so far at the Stockport branch of Volvo. Took my car in for a service 4 weeks ago and was told it would need to come back in for some parts. Promised a call back on 3 occasions after chasing but never received one. When calling through to the service team to arrange the return visit no one answers, ever. Honestly, without sounding dramatic, this has genuinely made me consider whether I would have another Volvo. Use an independent or another dealership. Swerve Volvo Stockport

Arrived at Volvo was greeted my Rachel Clifton who was very helpful, friendly and polite. Handled everything smoothly and gave me a phone call to update halfway through the day. Car came back with all our jobs done and had been cleaned and hoovered which was appreciated.

Used this dealer a few times now. Always helpful and much more of a personal service here than at some of the larger Volvo dealers.

Extremely poor experience with Lookers I purchased a Polestar 2 and was assured a missing activity key and damage to the rear of the vehicle would be resolved. I have now taken annual leave twice, travelled 1.5 hours each way, and repeatedly been told the replacement key had been ordered, only to discover it had not. Despite multiple promises over several weeks, the issue still remains unresolved. Communication and customer service have been extremely poor throughout, with significant time, inconvenience, and unnecessary cost caused. Very disappointing experience from the Lookers group.

Absolutely awful experience from start to finish. It took multiple days just for the sales department to send over bank details so we could even proceed with payment, communication throughout was painfully slow and frustrating. We were assured the vehicle would be delivered clean (which should be a basic expectation), but when it arrived, I was genuinely shocked. I have never seen anything like it. I have no idea how any manager or supervisor could allow a vehicle to leave their forecourt in that condition. We arranged for private valeting. The refund for the valeting took over a week and required constant chasing, which just added to the frustration. The car was supposedly serviced, but it’s unclear by whom. There is an obvious AdBlue leak on top of the engine,something that would be impossible to miss! raising serious doubts about whether any proper inspection was carried out at all. To make matters worse, the service book in the car belongs to a completely different vehicle (or raises concerns about whether this one has been clocked 😂) A replacement service book was promised but has never been provided. The engine cover, which looks like it has been chewed by rats, was also supposed to be replaced, this has not been done even though was promised

Appalling customer service, called three times to book a test drive and told someone will call back to arrange each time yet no response. Therefore decided to go into the showroom today to see the XC40 and enquire about a test-drive in person. Once there, not once were we approached by anyone to see if we required any assistance, I spoke with the receptionist who advised someone would assist us shortly. Waited again for a long time and not given any updates about what was going on and whether anyone would be available imminently to help. Had to leave after this. Just abysmal all-round.
