BLIS with Steer Assist
The new Blind Spot Information system warns you of other vehicles approaching your blind spot (either from the side or behind). If a car advances from behind, the BLIS gently adjusts the steering to help avoid collision.
Oncoming Lane Mitigation
The Oncoming Lane Mitigation system will help to steer you back into your lane if you drift out into approaching traffic.
Oncoming Mitigation by Braking
If a front-on accident is unavoidable, the Oncoming Mitigation by Braking actively helps to minimise the impact.
For all XC90s, V90s, V90CCs and S90s (model year 18) you can add the Intellisafe safety feature of Oncoming Mitigation by Braking which will actively help to minimise the impact if a front-on accident is unavoidable.
