Land Rover and luxury travel provider Abercrombie & Kent have teamed up to launch the stuff of dreams aptly called, “the most luxurious road trip on Earth”, the once in a life time trip taking in 5 continents, eight countries and nine of the world’s best hotels, all this from behind the wheels of a £148,900 Range Rover SVAutobiography, the most luxurious model in Range Rover’s history.

“The most luxurious road trip on Earth” offers customers 21 days of matchless luxury combined with the greatest driving routes the world has to offer, both on-road and off-road

The locations have been carefully selected to offer the very uppermost levels of luxury and provide guests with truly off-the-beaten-track experiences at locations only accessible thanks to the unrivalled capability of the Range Rover.

The one-of-a-kind Abercrombie & Kent itinerary has been developed to mark the launch of the Range Rover SVAutobiography – the ultimate variant of the British manufacturer’s luxury model line.

This itinerary represents the definitive drive adventure, achieved in the definitive vehicle.”

Of course all this luxury travel and adventure comes at a pretty price! The cost of the trip starts at £100,000 per person based on two travellers, and is fully customisable according to guests’ preferences. You can pop into one of Abercrombie & Kent’s holiday boutiques in Harrods London, Abu Dhabi and Monaco or online.

Starting in Europe, the guests are introduced to the twisting mountain roads of Monaco, the coastal highway to Portofino, and the awe inspiring surroundings of the Italian lakes. In the first leg, customers will stay near the Lake Como and in the remote Dolomites region of the Alps and will participate in bespoke activities, such as a personalized fragrance making class and a glacier picnic, in the peaks of the Alps, where they will be transported by helicopter.

The second leg will see the guests heading for Marrakech, where they will visit the arid desert around Ouarzazate and will take a trip into the Atlas Mountains.

The Arizona desert represents the third leg of the journey, where customers will stay at the Amagiri Resort in Utah, a one-of-a-kind 600-acre paradise built around a central swimming pool. Activities for this leg include hiking and scrambling excursion into Antelope Canyon, private dinner under the stars at a local Sandstone Butte, and breakfast in Zion National Park

No extreme off roading and adventure trip is complete with traveling to the driest non polar desert in the world - The fourth leg sees guests take an overnight flight to Chile. Staying at Awasi – one of the most luxurious and remote lodges in South America. The driving excursions in the area are some of the most impressive on earth and include a day drive to the Alamo Observatory, a £1bn telescope that can see the ‘beginning of time.’

The final part of the trip starts with an overnight flight to Sydney. A night’s stay at the Park Hyatt gives guests the opportunity to relax after they have experienced both a VIP bridge climb and behind-the-scenes access to the landmark Opera House. Tasmania awaits the following day and provides the opportunity for a stunning drive through the vast wilderness, taking in coastal heathland and forest, giving drivers the chance to put the SVAutobiography through its paces.
