The most powerful variant available in the first all-electric Gran Coupé achieves 544hp. Equipped with two powerful BMW M eDrive electric motors and a set of M-specific features, the BMW i4 M50 gets to 62mph in just 3.9 seconds.
The intelligent driving system created by the merging of the efficient drivetrain concept, lightweight construction, aerodynamic design and a powerful high-voltage battery, allows the BMW i4 eDrive40 to reach up to 366 miles*. In addition to this, other innovative technologies, such as brake energy recovery, help to extend the range and reduce energy consumption to less than 16.5 kW/h.
Charging the BMW i4 couldn't be easier. The Connected Charging service helps you find the nearest charging station along your route, so you can charge your BMW i4 when you need to – and go from a 10 to 80% charge in just 31 minutes with up to 200 kW of charging power. Or you recharge up to 101 miles range in only 10 minutes (up to 86 miles in 10 minutes for i4 M50). At home, you have the convenience of using a Wallbox. With up to 11 kW, it brings the battery of the BMW i4 back to 100% charge in just 8.5 hours. The BMW Flexible Charger for home use, the charging cable (Mode 3) for public charging, and the BMW Charging Card for access to the public charging network are included with purchase.
The BMW Charging Card is your key to a growing nationwide network of public charging stations. In the Active tariff, you can charge at especially attractive conditions all over Europe and pay no basic charge for the first 12 months. With the new BMW i4, you also obtain the IONITY Plus package for a year free of basic charge, which enables you to use the ultra-fast facilities at one of the many IONITY high-power charging stations.
The optional BMW IconicSounds Electric feature reshapes the BMW i4's driving sound, both inside and out. The audio experience is dependent on your selected driving mode: choose between a powerfully dynamic sound with clear power-load feedback in SPORT mode; balanced acoustics and slight load feedback in COMFORT mode, or high acoustic comfort without additional sound staging in ECO PRO mode.
Adventures, big or small, are always possible with the BMW i4’s generously sized luggage compartment, which has a volume of 470 litres. And if you need even more space, this can easily be achieved by expanding it up to 1,290 litres by folding down the rear seats.
The BMW i4 comes with next-gen digital services such as the latest BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, which responds to your voice commands and lets you control digital services such as Apple CarPlay®.
