The BMW i8 receives two exclusive colour schemes; Protonic Frozen Yellow and Protonic Frozen Black. These new paintwork editions further enhance the forward-thinking design of BMW’s futuristic plug-in hybrid. With Frozen Grey accents highlighting the bodywork, these unique BMW i8 Protonic Frozen Editions will keep catching eyes and turning heads.
The Protonic Frozen Black Edition will be produced at the Leipzig plant starting in April and the Protonic Frozen Yellow Edition will be launching in August. These limited edition colours will have finite units available in the UK, emphasising their exclusivity.
Both new BMW i8 editions include as standard:
- 20" BMW light alloy wheels
- Gear lever trim and central iDrive control unit in black ceramic
- ‘i8’ engraving to the central iDrive controller
- Door sill plates with 'Protonic Frozen Yellow or Black Edition' engraving
- High fidelity sound system by Harman/KardonBMW
- Individual special paintwork - Protonic Frozen Yellow or Protonic Frozen Black with Frozen Grey metallic highlight
- Amido Black BMW iSpheric Full leather, with yellow highlight
- Exclusive yellow or black contrast stitching to dashboard and centre console
- Floor mats with black leather piping and yellow highlight
