Distinctive design
The new Avant is instantly recognisable from its trademark RS bodykit and sizeable 21" alloy wheels. This model is one of the first to feature the new RS design language with a three-dimensional honeycomb structure within the Singleframe grille and side air inlets that open on a striking bumper below the standard LED headlights. These design features have been inspired by the front of the Audi R8. Looking at the new Audi RS 6 side on, you'll see the characteristic Avant shape.
Within the cabin, a host of innovative technologies are fitted as standard: MMI touch response display, Audi virtual cockpit and Audi Beam are all included. The RS sport seats in perforated Valcona leather have a honeycomb quilted design for unrivaled comfort. Impressive power
The latest Avant receives power from a 4.0-litre twin-turbo eight-cylinder engine with state of the art efficiency features including mild hybrid drive and cylinder on demand technology. 0-62mph with the new model takes only 3.6 seconds - an incredible time for an estate car. Speed, performance and handling have all been improved from the previous RS with the new model boasting 600PS and 800Nm of torque.
While the new engine is efficient, it still remains a true V8. The driver can influence the sound using the Audi drive select system, and through new modes can decide whether the sound is full-bodied or balanced. A new Launch Control function transmits the power from the engine to the quattro permanent all-wheel drive to ensure agility and safe handling.
RS 6 Performance
The Audi RS range reaches new heights with the Audi RS 6 Avant performance model. Boasting an impressive 605PS and torque up to 750Nm this model can easily accelerate from 0 to 62mph in just 3.7 seconds. Equipped with a 4.0 TFSI engine, it has a specific management system with increased rpm and boost pressure to the Audi cylinder on-demand system.
